We toke train from mandarado stn
One stop away from Port stn
After buying second-class train ticket,
We asked abt the platform n the staff told us that we won't have any seats
Colombo to Galle only Rs 180 for second-class, less than USD2!
We didn't understand what he said until we took the train
No one is gonna check ur ticket and the doors are opened even the train is operating
Since no seats appointed for every customer,
It is so crowded and it's difficult for u to grab a seat
Some aunts are so aggressive and trying to swing u away hahahahhaha
*door opening all the time so u can imagine there are no air-con here HAHAHAH
During half of our journey, some ppl left so got space for ppl selling snacks
Usually Rs 20-50 per pkg
Arrived Galle !
A taxi driver promotes us a package
Rs 3000/day with 5-6 attractions
*quite convenient but almost got attractions need to pay plus visiting some shops
We went to jewellery shop
Quite superb but no interest
Get to knw more abt diff plants in spice & herbal garden
Pepper one is quite interesting
They expose under sun and become black pepper
Add some water become white pepper and put them under the sun and become red pepper again
But then the products not suit me hmmmm

We visited the temple there
Not much ppl here so we though it is another trap hahahaha

The sleeping Buddha is quite famous but it covered by a curtain
so nothing to see hereeee
After that we visited Turtle farm
Rs 500
Natural reservation here by helping the hurt turtles recover
And put them back to the ocean after healing
Small one but quite meaningful
Some local parents would bring their children here as well
Quite disappointing w Stilit fishman though
Cuz they charge Rs 2000/person for taking poto, which the "fishermen" simply standing there
Then we joined a boat trip for river saferia
Option for 1hr and 1hr 30min
Rs 4500 for us (3 ppl)
However, it's raining during the trip :(
We went to cinnamon island
N they sold u cinnamon oil there hahahaha
(Need to get used of it if u got diff skin clot fro them)
They also got fish feeding
Like Rs 300/time
But not interested due to hygiene problem
Due to weather factor, nothing much to see in bird island
so we decided not to visit the island
btw its stop raining after we on land hahhahha
The view of the restaurant is SO NICE
we leave without checking the meal (we shouldn't join at the beginning of the trip LOL)
the driver dropped us at the entrance of the old port street (main attraction points in Galle!)
and asked us to pay more for HAPPY MONEY LOL
overall, it's not bad if you wanna enjoy a more all-rounded and luxury trip
but as students without much financial capability, I would say it is uncomfortable to hear everything needs to pay at a high price
(definitely not a local price level)
