Venice is vanishing...
When we walk through the streets, you can see water were leaking from the shop, everywhere
but it is shocking if you reach one side of St. Mark's square
you simply can't walk even with waterproof shoes.
It's like a little lake indeed...
There are no solution and the situation will become worse only
(The government could build pavement on the floor but not completely solve the problem)
Some plastic covered the shoes are sold nearby at 10€/pair
The rising of water level in Venice is worrying and reflect the problems the environment facing. It shows a direct result of climate change and Venice will be sinked likely in the future. Despite the news mentioned about the rising of sea level in Venice, it is shocking to see all these happened in person.
Even so, there are many people queuing up for entry of St Mark's Campanile
Walking out the square, it makes people feel comfortable with the sunshine along the port side
but how if the whole Venice sink and become like this?
