two ways getting from Colombo to Negombo
not bad if you wanna spend one day for fishing market, beach, temple, church
train:
normal train service in Fort Railway Station
you could enjoy pretty scenario without A/C but sometimes long waiting time for 1 stn due to single rail system
A/C bus:
highway bus from Fort Bus Terminal
fast, comfortable with A/C but they have extra seats in the corridor which very crowded
We took tuktuk twice only for the whole day cuz all tourists spots are within walking distance
Pasta shop
Bakery shop in front of the bus station. dessert, drinks are all very nice with fair price
cake ~Rs 30-45/pcs
might ask for less sugar if you don't like sweet
recommended lassi here

Agurukaramulla Raja Maha Viharaya (Bodhirajaramaya)
the most famous Buddhist temple bringing Buddhists from all over Sri Lanka to Negombo every year
the day we went was Payo day so we saw some celebrations there
still not much people went there
they got some history and some characters
and I know nothing about it....
they seems got some Sinhala tour guide

Negombo Beach
we went there by tuk tuk
and it's quite similar to other beach like in Galle or Mount Lavina
(no difference for me)
this one got more locals and people hmmmm
and I didn't bring shorts...

St. Sebastian Church
I dun have any religions but this one not bad...
very big and quite interesting to have sands LOL
(we thot they wanna grow grass here but failed to do so...)

St.Mary's cathedral Church
We can't find the entrance and left...

Negombo Lagoon - fishing market
open from 5am-9am and 5pm-9pm
many fresh seafood and very very cheap relatively
even though they charge us foreign price
two fish for Rs 900, 0.95 pounds
(originally they said Rs 550/pound LOL)

and charging Rs 300 for handling the fish
We got A/C bus with these fishes hahhahah
they played Sinhala songs again and with TV hahhahah
btw our lunch is so world-class one cuz they made orders incorrectly without any single one correct LOL hahha like seafood fried noodles becoming chicken fried noodles mango juice becoming mango water later they explained their boss was out of town and they r not good at Eng thou you couldn't and won't feel angry cuz it is Sri Lankan hahha which sometimes I feel quite jealous of them they just way of too chill

this one cost Rs 400 by the way LOLLLL
