"escape" from the ugliest city Mannheim hahahhaha
with the semesterticket, I can travel from Mannheim to heidelberg for free
mine one would cover the following area:
VRN - Netz ohne Westpfalz
you may take tram, bus and even inter-city bus.
before Heidelberg
market in the morning but mostly they sell fruits & vegetables here
and church nearby
I took the wrong bus and went here hahahha
still very nice,esp if you hv a bicycle
it is near to train station and the buildings are so cool
no much shops nearby cuz it is a residential area

you may take cable car to the 139-year castle
so I didn't go inside
I walked nearby and there are so many souvenir shops and restaurants
restaurants like bar and food from different countries
unlike Mannheim,
they got tourists here! (like I'm the one who come from countryside LOL)
even there are foreigners in Mannheim, they look like students or living in Germany for a while
they don't look frustration
and here you saw people taking pictures by camera!!!
