Many people would concern about the safety of travelling Jerusalem after Trump announced moving embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.Tel Aviv is usual like other cities. However, you can observe that they have many police and even soldiers in Jerusalem.
There are police riding on horse and army force carrying with many equipment. You could find army forces in almost every ally inside the old city.
There are live broadcast and reporters staying near Damascus Gate. Damascus Gate serves as main gate of the old cities and Palestinians or people from East Jerusalem usually have protest here.I were seeing some people shouting some slogans before Shabbat on Friday. A group of women were shouting and one of them acted emotionally. A group of army force rushed toward within a few minutes. I don't have any stance in this issue but it's quite heartbreaking to see how people protect their homeland in person.
I met a Chinese couple who traveled from Jordan. They were passing Palestine and saw some black smoke inside the city. Those black smoke are probably caused by burning wheels.
