It's a Main square since 18 century, the gate is the only building reminded after WWII, while others were being demolished.
and they had Coca-Cola festival here
It's celebration of the national day, which people will stand in that square and celebrate for reunion of the Germany.
#memorial to the murdered Jews
2711 irregular concrete slabs in total
During WWII, this place was belonged to neither West or East Germany. There is an exhibition about the Jewish victims during WWII.
With the recording of all of the names who were being murdered during WWII, it would take you more than one year time for listening all of them. Walking through the memoir, you would feel like a wave, pulling you deeper and deeper.

#Hitler's bunker
The location where Hitler spent his last month and commit suicide with his family, now is the residential area.
The Hitler issue is not widely discussed during the cold war. It becomes popular when there was football match in Berlin, which brought more tourists to visit the city.

#wall of Berlin
The biggest department store was located here and now wall of Berlin is the biggest store in town!
#House of Military
The building was the House of Military during WWII . There was a debate on whether such a building with buried history shall be used nowadays. Now it is the House of Finance and visitors with special pass could visit here.

People in picture was having protest for freedom, which Berlin Wall was built later.
17 July was the national day of Germany originally. 2 October becomes the national day after the reunion of two Germany.
#Berlin Wall/Topography of Terror
It's the former American sector, which soldiers (2 in pair) would shot the one who wanna escape here. There are some holes in the wall, cuz everyone wanna keep part of the wall as souvenirs (ie Wall packers hahahaha)

#Tabi World
During cold war, it took 10-15 years for the delivery of new vehicle in East Germany.
600g only and people can fix the car themselves. Owning something from Tabi World is a fancy of every citizen in East Germany.

#Checkpoint Charlie
It is checkpoint for people pass through US and USSR sector. Nowadays, the locals call it as Snack Point Charlie because there are so many American fast food nearby, while here is the former American sector.

#East side gallery
It's another side of Berlin Wall with art works + Wall Museum. There are many artworks with different kinds of topics, like political issue, environmental concern and foreign culture, which represents a diversity of opinions in the society.
