2-3 days/on foot/night life culture
#traditional food
Basically Dutch food is about deep fried everything you may order Smashed potato, salad with sausage if you wanna try their traditional food
There are many craft beer bars here if you don't have enough time to visit Heineken Experience. It costs €10 for 4 types of beer + water +peanuts. They have their own beer factories behind and the environment is really nice
Recommend to make reservation if you decided to come at night
#Coffee shop
Going to coffee shop means having weeds in Amsterdam. My roommate went to a bar in Red Light District and they recommended her the weeds suitable for girls more. It costs €12-13 for 1 package. If you decided to wipe on your own, you have to buy filter, wipe paper and lighter as well. I'm not familiar with all these...
Unlike cigarette, it smells quite nice and you won't feel uncomfortable. It brings depression or excitement to one, which really depends on individuals.
*coffeeshop with a scene for the movie Oceans 12 with Brad Pitt and George Clooney
#Red light district
I went in the evening and night time, it's definitely one of the amazing part of Amsterdam.
For evening time, I didn't notice that we were in Red Light District. When I saw a women with underwear only standing in front of the door. It's like inside a red box and below G/F, I were like WTF is happening. You will see people are interested in different museums like prostitution museum and exotic museum, that looks so funny.
Sometimes we can't understand why parents bring their children to come here. It's a new experience though
I went with a Lesbian at night. She looks so exited with everything, which bring me another new experience in Red Light District. We went to a few sex shops. There are some pee and sex live show from €15. The famous one offers a series of shows and costs €40 per person. I even saw a guy bargaining with one of the ladies in those red box.
#Why you should visit Amsterdam
Another than fun facts of Amsterdam, it is interesting to experience the night life of Amsterdam. Amsterdam becomes my desired city to live in Europe. Not only the local cultures here, people here can speak fluent English. They are nice and friendly if you asked them any questions. For my first day in Amsterdam, I bought a GVB pass but pumped into a connection bus (another transport operator in Amsterdam) When the handsome driver grabbed my ticket and telling me my ticket is not valid, I were thinking to depart at next station. I was surprised that he explained me how shall I use my pass and even allow me to ride with him without purchasing any additional tickets.
Despite the expensive housing here, we went to Lidi (chain supermarket) and surprisingly the price of food here is quite similar to other countries like Germany.
