The crater Keriò was formed about 6500 years ago and lies in the Iceland's Western Volcanic Zone. However, the traces of volcanism are not very obvious, since most of the eruption sites are low-lying. The formation of explosion craters are caused by explosive eruptions. But more details can be found in the official leaflet haha
There are two walking paths. I would recommended the one - going down the lake -if you don't have enough time. It's awesome when you view from the top but more surprising when you walk on the lake. You can see through the ice. Be aware of the ice which would be cracked at any moment.

Geysir Hot Spring Area with boiling mud pits, exploding geysers and the lively Strokkur which spouts water 30 metres (100 ft) into the air every few minutes. The area is quite big but the hot spring area are similar with each other, so you don't have to spend a lot of time here. (Be aware of time management)The newly opened Geysir Center offers exhibits and informative presentations year round. Geysir Hot Spring Area is one of the most popular tourist stop in Iceland. But most importantly, there are washrooms inside the shopping center haha

It's a powerful waterfall created by Iceland's melting glacier. it's located in South Iceland on the Hvítá (White) river which is fed by Iceland´s second biggest glacier, the Langjökull. The water plummets down 32 meters in two stages into a rugged canyon which walls reach up to 70 meters in height. On a sunny day shimmering rainbow can be seen over the falls. But I can't see the rainbow. Before we arrived, we reacted like - visiting waterfall again - We have visited three waterfalls in South Coast tour a day before. But it was awesome!!!
The floor is still slippery but it was great to climb up and walk around. I captured a crazy guy standing in another side of the mountain. I don't know how did he make that but that is too exotic.

There are some walking path and one of them are heading to another small fountain. But here are extremely slippery that like ice-skating. After the big-scale super awesome waterfall, we gave up on climbing up in order to protect ourselves. When we went down, we sat and slide down like kids. (My pants are not waterproof haha)
As one of the UNESCO World Heritage Historical sites, Þingvellir National Park represents the fundamental of Icelandic history. Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is the National Park where the Althing, an open-air assembly representing the whole of Iceland, was established in 930 and continued to meet until 1798. Over two weeks a year, the assembly set laws - seen as a covenant between free men - and settled disputes. The Althing has deep historical and symbolic associations for the people of Iceland. The property includes the Þingvellir National Park and the remains of the Althing itself: fragments of around 50 booths built from turf and stone.
Many trails are closed in winter but the rocks and the environment still looks cool in white. Imagine it's gonna be vivid in summer with green.
