850€ included airfare, local transportation, accommodation, tour fee and all daily expense!

SEEDS is a local NGO which organizes workcamps for participants to have in-depth understanding of Iceland, instead of simply tourism purpose. My program is called Aurora hunting, photography exhibition and costed 320€ for 10-day accommodations and food. There will be a photography exhibition held after the workcamp. They provide special offer for participants to join the excursions (Golden circle)and transportation, like 50% off for FLY ticket (transportation from KEF airport to BSI station or any hostels point).
My guesthouse is 4km from the city center, which requires 40 minutes walk. Coach service is not provided if you want to visit city center during free time. They have another workcamp related to environmentally awareness. They have to do environmental research and share their ideas regarding climate change issue. It's more academic but their guesthouse is near to city center, which requires 10-15 minutes walk only.
One workcamp will have approximately 10-12 participants and not more than 2 people from same nationalities in order to ensure the diversity of people.
Excursions is organised by SEEDS and they have young volunteers who would introduce the attractions to you in person. It's less flexible than other tours because not all tours will be available. They have to consider the number of participants, weather conditions and days of the workcamp.

They will do shopping in chain supermarket BONUS every 4 days. Participants have to take turn and cook for others. International dinner is also organized for participants to share their local food to others.
I would recommended people who like meeting new friends and exploring new culture. (It's important because you have to live with people from different countries for more than one week) Being responsible is vital for joining a workcamp because everyone has to their own duties like cleaning and cooking. If you want to visit the attractions in Iceland only, it's better to stay in hostels or hotels.
For me, it's very meaningful and interesting as a photography start-up like me. The photography workshops are useful for me and my campmates are very friendly and easy-going in general.
