- no vegetables is the best - told by me
Usually I don't do food hunting for solo travelling because I can't manage to try any food with vegetables. My friend Amy joined me at the second day of my trip so we managed to try some traditional food. The price in Budapest is slightly cheaper than Western Europe in general.
We went there almost 10pm and people can either drink or eat there. They have a variety of cuisine, including European, Eastern European, Central European, Hungarian and International. We understand that we were coming too late and the staff there are not SUPER friendly. We even have to walk out and ask for paying the bill. I tried the chicken cheek with salmon here and it's a bit salty. But the drink (some juice maybe) is quite nice

That's is the best customer service I had in Europe. You'll receive a very warm welcome at the lovely candlelit cellar and they will serve you with a welcome drink. The Hungarian home cooking includes some first-rate dishes such as grey beef, duck leg, oxtail and lamb's knuckle. The friendly staff will ask about your dishes from time to time while you are enjoying the live music. if you are too full for desserts, they will bring cupcakes with the bills to you. We were lucky to come walk-in but usually reservations are essential.

#Stifler Bar
Budapest is famous of its night life. Apart from joining pub crawl, you can do something else another than drinking in a bar. Stifler bar is Sports Bar, the locals like spending time here after work or study. They offer very cheap drinks and a cool sports bar interior, the beer is even "sold out" at the time of 21.00 to 22.00

It is quite surprising that Chinese restaurants are famous in Budapest and it's quite crowded if you come in lunch hour.
They provide traditional Chinese cuisine like the ramen, the hakao, the fried dumplings, the fried noodles and the popular rice noodle soup. I would say Chinese restaurants in Europe is not so Asian or Chinese at all but this restaurant impressed us quite a lot, they are working with family-recipes and the spices comes from China.
I tried the rice noodles and they don't even put spring onions into the dishes! Nice
